Question 1

What does PitchSpark's AI pitch scorer measure?

Accepted Answer

PitchSpark is a founder–investor matching platform built around an AI pitch scorer. Founders submit a pitch and receive a calibrated 0–100 score across six dimensions — problem clarity, solution fit, market evidence, business model, team narrative, and communication — plus a letter grade and per-dimension feedback. Investors browse scored pitches, request decks, and run deals through a built-in pipeline. Weights are versioned and recalibrated weekly against real investor outcome data (deck requests, contact requests, funding events).

Question 2

Is PitchSpark's pitch score reliable?

Accepted Answer

The score is calibrated weekly against real investor behavior — deck requests, contact requests, and funding events. It is wrong about individual pitches in predictable ways: under-rewarding novel categories, over-rewarding well-structured pitches that lack substance. Best read as one signal among several, not as a gating decision. The per-dimension feedback is more actionable than the composite number.

Question 3

How is PitchSpark different from a human investor's review?

Accepted Answer

A human investor brings sector context, network signal, and bias the model lacks. The AI brings consistency across thousands of pitches, no fatigue, and explicit per-dimension feedback. Pitches scoring above 75 that still fail to raise typically have a market-evidence or team-experience gap an investor's intuition catches. Pitches scoring below 50 that successfully raise almost always involve founder-market signal not captured in writing.

Question 4

What score do I need to get investor interest?

Accepted Answer

There is no threshold. Pitches scoring 70+ receive deck requests at meaningfully higher rates than pitches scoring 50–69, but variance within each band is large. The actionable use of the score is the per-dimension feedback, not the composite number.

Question 5

Is PitchSpark free?

Accepted Answer

The pitch scorer at pitchspark.io/score is free and anonymous, with a 5-per-24-hours rate limit per IP. Investor browsing is free up to 10 daily swipes. Pro investor features (unlimited swipes, direct messaging, CRM export) are $49/month. Founder Boost ($24/24h) and SparkLight newsletter placement are à-la-carte.

Question 6

How do I claim a pitch score I generated anonymously?

Accepted Answer

Visit the score result URL (pitchspark.io/score/r/{share_id}) while signed in. The system associates the score with your account; you can then attach it to a Pitch you create. Anonymous scores are never associated with a user until you claim them.
