Overview

Founded by a team of professional musicians, educators, and technologists, MuseFlow was created to bring the joy of playing into the process of learning how to play. Founders Steven Gizzi and Patrick Boylan recognized the limitations of traditional music education, which focuses on rote memorization rather than fluency. Having grown up in that traditional environment themselves, they envisioned a system that integrates interactive tutorials, constantly changing music that adapts to each individual user, and real-time feedback to keep learners engaged, progressing, and loving the process of learning. The vision is a fully emergent, uniquely personalized curriculum for every instrument and every user—adapting in real time to their interests, skill level, and taste—keeping them in flow and engaged in the joy of learning for a lifetime.
